Metro Tips

The Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner is a short walk from the Greensboro Metro Station.  This provides great access into the city of Washington D.C. as well as surrounding areas.  Simply walk south on Leesburg Pike for about a quarter of a mile.

 Here are some helpful tips for riding the Metro:
  •  The most up to date metro information can be found on the wmata website.
  • Specific trip information can be found using the trip planner tool on the wmata website.
  • The direction a train is traveling is indicated by the train station that will be the train’s last stop.
  •  Tickets for the metro can be bought at the metro station.  Fare amounts can be found above metro card machines.  Fares are calculated on a pro-rated basis, depending on how far you are traveling.  If you do not purchase a smart trip fare card you will have to buy paper fare cards which cost an additional dollar per ride.
  •  You will need to insert your metro fare card upon entering the metro station and leaving the metro station.
